What is Daughters and Dads Active and Empowered ®

  1. The University has established the Daughters and Dads Active and Empowered  (“DADAE”) program targeting fathers as the agents of change to improve their daughters’ physical activity levels, sport skills and social-emotional wellbeing. Formally known as DADEE, the program also engages girls to improve the fitness and physical activity levels, and parenting skills of their fathers. The website provides a platform for facilitators to undertake training to deliver DADAE sessions with all resources available in a facilitator portal. The website also enables users to register their interest in participating in upcoming programs, ask questions relating to the program or submit an expression of interest to be involved as a program facilitator or partner.

  2. The University may also run various research projects regarding DADAE. The University may require you to provide consent to take part in any DADAE research project or may have certain eligibility criteria for participants. Evidence of such consent must be supplied to the University upon request.
